Sandra Kwawu is currently earning her MSCS at Northeastern University through the Align program. Prior to this degree, she worked in Social Services for many years in an array of roles that brought her to the tech world. As a professional and a student, she is passionate about the role of technology in the healthcare system. She is bilingual and speaks French fluently. At Northeastern University, Sandra is the PR chair for Code4theCulture, a student organization for Black and Latinx scholars. Her interests outside of Academia are hiking, reading, and traveling. She has done the Loon Mountain Race twice and plans to complete the Presidential Traverse hike this coming summer.
